PBS Rebranding Pitch

Direction A - Safe approach.
For this approach, I want to take the current PBS branding and push it in more graphic and dimensional direction. Using soft gradients, transparency, and rotation to create texture through volume.

Direction B -  Volumetric Light

For this direction I want to play with the idea of colored lights that illuminate a space filled with fog. The colors will mix beautifully and slowly change over time. The shadows will criss cross and fan out as the light source changes position. There are a lot of fun possibilities here. The PBS logo can cast one giant shadow to drawn attention to another part of the screen and reveal footage, cast multiple shadows to create interesting shapes, and eclipse the invisible light source leaving only an aura of color and light around the logo.
